Overview
This digital task card addresses the topic of how people dress in different seasons an weather climates. The learners complete activities where they dress people appropriately to suit the weather condition or climate as well as completing printable worksheets that require the students to match the season or the weather condition to the clothes that should be worn.
We have designed the activities included in the digital task card to suit the ability level of an average student. |
Prior Knowledge
This task card is to be presented to the learners in one of the first few lessons of the unit. Therefore, the students have been briefly informed that the seasons and the weather affect how we dress and the weather and seasons have been explained to them. The students have some prior knowledge from their own experiences of the seasons and how they dress and are now trying to relate it to their new knowledge.

DifferentiationTo cater for the diverse range of ability levels of the learners the needs of the students need to be catered for through differentiation. We have designed our digital task cards to cater for all the learners in the classroom. We have done this by including extension activities for learners who have a higher ability level and are early finishes. We also suggest teacher instruction for the students with lower ability levels.
